Storm water and sanitary systems are vulnerable to water intrusion at joints, cracks, and voids. Groundwater inflow not only overwhelms treatment facilities but also accelerates the deterioration of concrete and metal structures. Chemical pressure grouting fills voids and seals leaks at the source, preventing further structural damage and restoring integrity to the system.
Our chemical pressure grouting process injects hydrophobic or hydrophilic grout materials into active leaks and voids under controlled pressure. These materials expand to create a watertight seal, bond with the surrounding substrate, and cure quickly. Grouting restores stability and stops groundwater intrusion without excavation or full structure replacement.
After sealing infiltration points with chemical grout, we use Geokrete to rebuild and reprofile interior surfaces. This fiber-reinforced geopolymer mortar offers excellent corrosion resistance and structural strength. Geokrete adheres to damp substrates, making it ideal for post-grouting surface restoration inside manholes, culverts, wet wells, and similar environments.
Once structural restoration is complete, we apply Structure Guard QS to coat the surface with a durable, chemical-resistant epoxy lining. This seamless barrier prevents future degradation from wastewater, hydrogen sulfide, and other corrosive compounds. Structure Guard QS improves long-term durability and reduces maintenance needs.
